Biography

My initial influences were the avant-garde, abstraction and contemporary painters who take on the Cézannian challenge of constructing through color.
After Fine Arts (University of Barcelona) and further studies (SAIC Chicago) I became accustomed to delving into the subconscious to make it evident on canvas and paper; with increasing fluidity as my confidence in the materials grew.
In this way, I adopted line, color and form as sincere vehicles of expression, both intuitive as well as deliberately constructed.
